PROPRIOCEPTIVE STIMULATION
DR. FARIAS' METHOD
The work of Dr. Farias is based on the principle that the most important thing is how the brain perceives the body's movements. Changing these perceptions, it is possible to reduce the undesired tensions and improve your movements very quickly.
The method allows you to unlock your movements to discover your own way to use your abilities most creatively and efficiently.
The exercises are integrated into everyday practice, and you will see your movement through a new perspective.
Dr. Farias' Proprioceptive Stimulation has been applied successfully to the treatment of Focal Dystonia in musicians, athletes and artists and other Focal Dystonias as Writers' cramp, Hand Dystonia and Ankle Dystonia.
fMRI images have shown that after completing the training, normal cortical activity in the brains of patients was restored.
